New PicoScope Test: Smart Alternator (Ford) ============================================================= We regularly add new tests into PicoScope software and have just released a test for the 'Smart Charging Alternator' system as used on some Ford vehicles. The topic includes connection instructions, example waveforms and technical notes. We have also places a copy of the new test on the forum. If you have any experience working with these smart alternator systems we invite you to review and suggest improvements on the test (the link can be found below). Feedback: Capless HT Lead (Motorcycle) ====================================== As part of our continuing efforts to expand our range of test accessories, we are thinking of releasing a specially designed HT Lead for use with Motorcycles. This would allow you to remove the ignition coil from the Spark Plug and reattach it to allow the use of the (PP178) Secondary Pick Up Lead. This would be very useful where use of the COP probe is limited therefore requiring the use of the Secondary Pick Up Lead. We would like feedback from Motorcycle Technicians to allow us to see if this would be a valuable accessory for Motorcycle Diagnostics. Please pass your feedback to us via our Automotive Forum. 1. New PicoScope Test: Smart Alternato= r (Ford)

3D" We regularly add new tests in= to PicoScope software and have just released a test for the 'Smart Charging= Alternator' system as used on some Ford vehicles. The topic includes conne= ction instructions, example waveforms and technical notes. We have also pla= ces a copy of the new test on the forum. 2. Feedback: Capless HT Lead (Motorcyc= le)

3D"<= /td> As part of our continuing effort= s to expand our range of test accessories, we are thinking of releasing a s= pecially designed HT Lead for use with Motorcycles. This would allow you to= remove the ignition coil from the Spark Plug and reattach it to allow the = use of the (PP178) Secondary Pick Up Lead.
