Current Clamps

Clamp–on current probes or “current clamps” enable you to measure currents without breaking the electric circuit. Current clamps are designed with jaws that can be opened, placed around the conductor and clamped closed to form a magnetic loop around the conductor.

Current clamps offer a safe, cost–effective, simple and accurate way to take current measurements.

Our range of current clamps can be used with Pico Oscilloscopes and Pico Data Loggers, as well all major brands of oscilloscope and multimeters.
 

PP218:  60 A  AC/DC Current Clamp (4 mm)

This current clamp will measure both AC and DC currents in the range 10 mA  to 60 A. Features include a selectable calibrated voltage output. Supplied with 4 mm  (banana) plug type connectors.

PP264:  60 A  AC/DC Current Clamp (BNC)

This improved version of the PP218 features superior shielding against interference and is terminated in a BNC connector allowing it to be connected directly to your PicoScope.

  PP179:  600 A  AC/DC Current Clamp (4 mm)

This current clamp can measure currents up to 600 amps for both AC (up to 400 Hz) and DC currents. Features includes a low–battery indicator. Supplied with 4 mm  (banana) plug type connectors.

   PP266:  600 A  AC/DC Current Clamp (BNC)
